The Adult Protective Services Unit of Chaffee County Human Services handles reports of adult abuse, neglect and exploitation.
Abuse, neglect (including self-neglect or neglect by others), and exploitation are serious problems facing many vulnerable adults who, due to age and/or disability, are unable to protect themselves.
Suspected or known incidents of adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation should be reported to the Adult Protective Services in the Chaffee County Departments of Social (Human) Services or where the adult resides.
